The Graph Screen

Modified on Mon, 6 Jan at 8:05 AM

This page describes the Graph Screen, only available to rowers during an active piece.

Navigating to the Graph Screen

  1. Connect the RowHero app to the PM5. (See Your First Workout on the Getting Started for Rowers guide.)

  2. Set up the PM5 to start either a single or interval time, distance, or calorie piece. RowHero should turn into a landscape view showing you one of many screens. If you already see a screen which looks like the screenshot below, you’re on the right page. Otherwise, go to step #3.

  3. Swipe left or right to toggle between screens until you find the Graph Screen (which looks like the picture below).

The Graph Screen

Every stroke you pull, the screen will refresh with data from the latest stroke, depending on your settings. See below for more information on each part of the screen.

  1. Core Metrics: You have 3 metrics you can view on this screen. Tapping any metric will allow you to change them.

  1. Graph. This graph follows one of a few stats: your current split (/500m on the erg, /1000m on the bike), your current watts, stroke length, or heart rate (if attached to the Concept2). You can change these through the Settings icon (#4).

  2. Projected and Average Lines. You can choose to show a projected finish line and an average line. The average line applies to all stats, but the projected line only applies to the split and watts views. The average line indicates your current average for the whole piece. The projected line indicates the average you'll finish it if you keep going at your current pace. You can add or remove these through the Settings icon (#4).

  3. Settings Menu. Tap this gear icon to modify your preferences.
