The Concept2 PM5 has its own software that needs to be updated periodically. This software is called firmware.
You may find in the course of using RowHero so that some ergs exhibit strange behavior (e.g., error screens pop up). Some old versions of firmware have issues like this.
To fix these issues, update your PM5 firmware using Concept2's guidance: https://www.concept2.com/service/monitors/pm5/firmware
You can determine the version of your firmware by navigating through the monitor's menu: More Options > Utilities > More Utilities > Product ID.
Your firmware version shows up at the end of the line that says PM5 Firmware Version.
